About Us
The Tulsa Young Democrats (TYD) consists of Democrats in Tulsa County, and neighboring counties, between the ages of 14-35.
TYD is the official Tulsa County chapter of the Young Democrats of Oklahoma (YDO) and the youth wing of the Tulsa County Democratic Party (TCDP).
The Young Democrats of Oklahoma is the youth wing of the Oklahoma Democratic Party and the state chapter of the Young Democrats of America.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower young people to engage in politics, advocate for progressive change, and build a more inclusive Democratic Party. We work to educate and develop future leaders, grow volunteer capacity, and connect local issues to political action across Tulsa.
Our vision is to build a diverse, informed, and empowered community of young Democrats in Tulsa who actively engage in shaping local and state politics, while championing Democratic values across Tulsa County.
